Hi all, this is in the inside of my ROG G16. Can you help identify the TIM:
– 1 : cpu 13650 hx, and i think liquid metal, which one would you recommend?
– 2: vrm and I think aome kind of puty? Never seen this before, which one would you recommend and can I use a thermal pad instead?
– 3: gpu rtx 4060, normal thermal paste, I think to add kryonaut like I always do

    The blue stuff is some kind of thermal putty. Should be able to reuse it since it still looks soft. It can be replaced with something like CX-H1300 13.5W/mK, Upsiren U6 Pro (from aliexpress, not CSGR), HY236 etc. Snarks Domain on YT has lots of testing data for putties.

    The liquid metal should also be reusable, you’ll want to respread it with a q-tip on both the cooler and die. If you want to replace it with something less risky, PTM7950 is awesome. It’s also the best choice for the GPU. Lasts longer and outperforms standard pastes in direct-die applications.
