I already felt that the katt was underpowered in the mid range compared to MTZ Interceptor, now it is also weaker in the long range…. So basicaly you have no more reason to use it?

    because it doesn’t work well with aim assisted controllers… just like they don’t care about fixing aim “bot” assist, they nerf anything that MnK guys will have even a bit of advantage in…

    because they are idiots. No point in having a sniper if it cant knock someone with one good head shot.

    Set your watch – they will nerf movement too at some point.

    Still insta downs someone, high velocity rounds were better than spire point anyway. Better hit reg or something.

    Honestly this is the one change I have no issues with. Sniping was easy with the Katt. This update adds a little more skill gap to the gun. Now the fact that there’s only 1 viable sniper is a totally separate issue, but this update only increases the skill gap which is a good thing imo.

    MCP has been more fun for me anyways. Terrible bullet velocity with explosive rounds, but no tracers, and better ads makes it more useful.

    Welp, just switched to MTZ 762 + WSP swarm combo. I might still pick up the Katt from a buy box if the circle is going downtown or something

    A map too big for 100 people but great for sniping due to size and buildings.. let’s nerf the only sniper that’s worth anything in the game that contary to redditors belief… does take some skill to use at long range especially to make a head shot at 100s of meters… but hey… knives can still kill you in one hit above the hips and lock on with aim assist. I’m convinced one of the developers hates sniping and wants this game to be fortnite.

    I used to run a sniper all the time in war zone mw2 the kat is not easy to use imo

    Dude what? Katt was broken as could be. U kind tons of insane shots on YouTube but look no further to your own games when on the receiving end

  17. Compared? It kills in one shot to the head what are you talking about if you miss that headshot against any gun you’ll die lol

  18. I’m sorry but this is a needed nerf. A one-shot sniper should never be this easy to hit shots with. Last patch it was basically hit scan. This hopefully makes it a little more skillful to hit those long range one shots on a moving target.

    This nerf is by no means removing 1 shot sniping from the game. It’ll still be good.

    I never had a problem specifically long ranges with the kat. The problem I had was they pull the gun up and within .002 seconds blow my head clean off. I wouldn’t even have time to react. I would see The flash and instantly die. I don’t know if that’s aim assist on controller or mnk players being able to instantly snap change their aim/tracking without having to pass through zero access like a joystick needs to.
