I would say it’s very good as long as you check the psu on the tier list make sure it’s at least in Teir b, are able to pay for windows, and if you download large games make sure to be ready to upgrade with a new ssd as that’s the main weak point imo. Wait for actual experts before buying I’ve only built one computer.

Honestly, this setup is pretty decent, and you can still upgrade the CPU to much higher tiers in a year or two if you need it.
I would add a second 1TB nvme drive (Kingston NV2 is a good value/performance drive), and only use the 500gb one for OS and basic applications.
Corsair is a reputable PSU maker and 750w is plenty. Peak efficiency doesn’t matter as much, since your system will never even get close to it, so the benefits of power saving are minimal, and they have decent support from my experience.
If you want to upgrade the cpu, you can look at the more modern 13600K if you want to push really high fps (which the 4070 can definitely support in esports titles etc). Just make sure you update BIOS before installing a newer CPU.

I built similar setup couple of weeks ago, price was a bit higher due to newer MB, DDR5 and 1TB M.2 drive… so I would also say this price is OK.

A 12400f is a well aged 6 core 12 thread cpu. Combine that with the fact most games are performing better on it, as well as newer games using as much as 16gb of memory. The only downside is the H610m chipset which is on the low end, but for gaming, you’re not going to notice it. The 4070 is a pretty good card, comparable to a 7800xt (which is better but obviously, DLSS and RTX performance is much better.)
I’d grab it, you might need to add more storage but other than that, you’ve got a solid 5 year old system.

That’s a pretty good price to be honest, CPU is a little on the weak side, but nothing too bad. A 4070 alone is half of that price, so for a prebuilt it’s really not bad at all. PSU is probably not great, but should be fine.

I’m located in Seattle which has an unrealistic tech scene, the deals I find out here are unreal, I always get a good laugh off guys like Greg Salazar or Tech Yes City on YouTube when I see the deals they get excited for, but in some areas tech is just not as available, if you assume the card is worth $500 give or take the rest of the parts add up to the rest of the price, I’d say it’s fair, nor necessarily insane, though again, in some markets just getting access to a fair price is the hardest part

I built a rig myself with the 12400, (non F) and eventhough i have 2TB, and 64GB ram, and no liquid cooling, im now at 850€ without the gpu. the 4070 costs around 600€ giving me a final price of 1450€ if i would buy one immediately, which i wont because i waiting for sales.
But 1k for that build is a steal and that is US$. Better ask to test it, and if there is warranty, but that should be a snap buy

I wouldn’t trust any adata drives anymore tbh. The controllers in them have been failing more and more recently. I had a 1TB drive that just failed after being shut down one day.

I wouldn’t call it an *amazing* deal by any means like a lot of other people, but I’d simply call it fair. It’s a typical prebuilt, decent GPU while skimping out on literally every other component. If you don’t feel like looking out for sales and building your own, then it’s a fine starting point I suppose. It may serve you well for a few years but it really comes down to what you play and your expectations. The 4070 is great, however I had the 12400F for about two years and in some of the games I play it led to some bottlenecks, stuttering, etc.
Also note that while you can upgrade your CPU in the future to 13th or 14th gen, you’re stuck on a dead platform as anything new coming out (15th gen and later, and DDR5) will not be compatible.
Lastly, the 120 AIO is absolutely fine for cooling a 12400F but if you upgrade beyond that you may have to upgrade your cooling as well.
