Built this with a friend a few years ago, but he didn’t have budget for case, so we used the one from his 15 year old prebuilt 😅 There was no room for a case fan inside, so we had to slap it on the back.

    Whatever works, right? Performance>aesthetics anyways.

I love the case. Why spend money on fans if you can just blow the dust out every now and then.
    Brilliant, my kind of thinking.

Reminds me of when I couldn’t afford a PC like I have now so I had to make do with stuff like this. I miss them days 😥

All of that but they had to make sure all 8 screws were in the optical drive.

There is room for a smaller fan inside. I cute a hole in the door to mount that big fan to blow air on the GPU. Rig up an intake fan up front on the inside too.

I had such a PC for a while. The side was open due to high temps.

Then I slapped a 200mm noctua fan onto the side and rolled a big hole. Dust never settled.

I can’t say much, the USB connection of my AIO is connected to my motherboard USB ports instead of a USB header. Just have a cable sticking out the back

  9. Mine looks almost the same. I love that precarious aesthetic

Besides the no side panel there’s not much thats actually bad. As long as it runs at or above the advertised specs there’s zero issue

Tell him they make a hard drive rack that fits in the empty DVD burner slot.

honestly i bet he has more fun than me, I just buy, install and then don’t play games on my pretty pc 😛

I ain’t gonna say shit, I’ve had my fair share of ghetto pc trying to run games at 30fps, shit lookin like playdough with 1gb vram from 2014-2021, tbh I’ve grown quite sentimental about that machine, enough to keep it locked up in my attic as a backup, scrapbucket gang wya?

My current pc is very similar. I got my first real job last year and now I have everything for a new pc except a gpu.

Ain’t nothing wrong with a sleeper build, I am just more curious about the hardware specs in this godly 15 year old case.

that poor gpu is choking to death. (unless he runs it without the side panel 24/7) not sure if it was just removed for the picture or what.

  18. you should see my minecraft server lol, the motherboard is hanging on zip ties
