This has been one of my biggest annoyances since the game released. Pulling up to a quest only for this to happen and then I gotta run away or hide till the cops go away before I can start the mission is infuriating. Was hoping they’d fix it with the police rework but nope, still happens, still annoying

One time, I had just gotten into my car, hadn’t moved at all, and a cop walked into the back of me and I got a wanted star out of it.
This is why I get a certain item with the phantom liberty story right away. Being able to get rid of wanted level with a button is too needed in this game.

You come speeding along near the sidewalk/curb and instead of staying where they are, the built in reaction is to jump into on coming traffic in front of you
This is definitely one thing that needs to change in Orion. You shouldn’t immediately get a wanted level after just one civilian kill. Make it like GTA where it depends on the severity or frequency of killing before you get a star.
I’ve noticed this as well, and it drives me nuts – basically what GTA does (or appears to do).

Hit one -5 meters from a “park the car in the indicated location” mission and had to drive in circles for a minute for my wanted level to dip down
