Have you checked your fire extinguisher lately?
This was my own fault. I was testing an e-bike battery of unknown provenance when it went into thermal runaway. The extinguisher was enough to knock down the flames but that doesn’t stop the thing from flaring back up so I had to carry the burning battery outside, which was more exciting than I’d have liked.
No serious harm done, just a melted seat cushion and carpet, and after a full day of cleaning the room is more or less back to normal levels of dusty.
I hope that wasn’t dry powder – its brutal to electronics, make sure you blow EVERYTHING out with compressed air, or you will get some unexpected consequences.
I run 2 X 9kg CO2 extinguishers in the workshop, and the larger (30kwh) batteries are kept outside for safety.
I repeat – blow out your test equipment or the combination of dry power and humidity will be very unfortunate.
I’ve had enough lithium cobalt fires to last me long enough – only deal with LiFePo4.

At least for however long your setup was like this, it was the perfect post apocalyptic gaming setup
Luckily your test equipment isn’t that expensive – I guess it’s not worth it for an insurance claim if they were to raise your rates?
