My Ryzen 5800x cpu is unstable at 4.65GHZ at 1.4 Volts but the rated boost clock is 4.7. How is my cpu unstable below boost clock? I’m using Ryzen master and cpu temps are between 88-92C. Are temps the problem? I’m using a Noctua cooler and Noctua fan.

Is using 1 fan for the CPU cooler also a problem?

Could be. Personally I’d add the second and redirect the fan so it’s facing up and use the top exhaust fans to help pull out heat even faster and the rear fan should be an intake

  3. The rated boost clock is only for single-threaded workloads. 1.4V is absolutely stupid voltage for air cooling on all-core, and it’s lower than what it uses to hit 4.7 single core when “stock”.

Temps are part of your problem, adding more airflow will help some, but dropping the voltage will pay more dividends. I wouldn’t even attempt an all-core workload above like 1.35… Though there was that one time Ryzen Master set up us the bomb and ran my 5950X to 115C and nerfed a board. That was fun.
