    Yeah, buy shit sometimes from the heads just at random, and by chance, they offer something you like. You know they are always stealing. It wouldn’t be ethical to be requesting items or checking inventory every day. Then, on a spur, buy this $20 pc. Post online that you bought it. Ask for the OG owner to prove it is their pc, then sell it back for an ethical $100 or so.

    This is the way.

Y’all really think the police are gonna track this thing down or it’s gonna cross some cop’s reddit page? I bet money the police got the report n just never looked into it like they do with the majority of stolen goods. That report could be old a fuck at this point.

    Far as we know, it got lifted by someone else that stole it from the original owner then the methhead stole it from that guy. I doubt it was lifted in a BnE/burglary incident, probably some shitty friend lifted it n also hangs with methheads etc etc lots of possibilities. This thing could’ve been missing for a looong time. And everyone has moved on since then, especially the police.

    Bet the og owner has a souped up tower by now. Also doubt the owner would give a reward. Don’t always assume doing the right thing will get you rewarded. Also the original owner needs proof of ownership.

    far as the law goes and his defense. He didn’t know it was stolen. No charge for that. Just a “steal” of a deal. You have to have shown you that you KNEW it was stolen to be charged.

    Also as for returning it. How would OP find a home address? All that info would be behind log ins or op would need to become a hacker man. Not worth the effort. Time, gas, money. No reward. Pssh As far as u know this thing came from a different county.. or state even. Don’t doubt how far a methhead will go. They bounce from town to town, crack house to crack house all the time.
