I have a kit if 2×16 ddr5 5600 cl36 a Hynix die and tRefi values is so low in auto even when overclock it to 6000 , any ideas on how to improve the numbers and make the latency a bit acceptable , from aida i get 75-77 latency.

just set it to like 65 000. As long as your dimms are bellow 60C that should work just fine

Hynix can run extremely fast, as suggested 65,000 is a good place to put it. You can most likely go even higher but with hard diminishing returns.

The ratio of tRFC to tREFI is how much time the memory spends “refreshing”, or “not doing any NEW work”. From your screenshot it would be refreshing for 322 cycles every 5463 cycles. Increasing the tREFI value increases the time in between refreshes.

You’ll probably see a small benefit in latency, but see a larger increase in read speeds. If you are looking to reduce latency you will probably have to adjust tRRD_sg/dg and tRDRD_sg/dg.
