I think engram Johnny and the “original” Johnny aren’t different people. When you enter the Soulkiller realm and talk to Alt, you are technically playing as an engram of V who doesn’t even notice that their original body died before it gets pointed out. And afterward there isn’t any difference compared to before (except you now don’t share your mind with Johnny)
