Normally I do a net runner/ sandi katana built, but after the 2.1 I started using a pump gun… Damn that’s fun! Fuck stealth, psycho mass murder it is!

There’s tons of great weapons. This one is highly OP (but apparently nerfed from launch, which terrifies me.)
Fenrir will devastate anything that relies on cybernetics. And if they don’t rely on cybernetics, they’re usually pretty squishy anyway.
There’s the dick club. It’s not very good but it’s very funny. A full body build is nearly invincible anyway. You don’t need a good weapon.
Emperors combo knife and katana. They bleed, you heal, combine with Black Mamba and a sandy and the Scorpions Sting tree for maximum effect.
The smart double barrel sounds dumb, looks worse, but still does the job once you’ve hit them with a few quickhacks. That’s my current build on very hard. I rarely need to shoot, though.
Honestly, Dying Night once fully upgraded shreds. If you scrap every single thing you find and upgrade it quickly, it’s unfair how OP it can be.
Any weapon, including no weapon, can work… except Placide’s chopper. That thing is garbage, but I still kill him with it.

I’m going to replay it cuz I heard that the best Katana is actually in the beginning and I’m a ninja build, so definitely going back to get that, also to experience the story as one complete experience with The Phantom Liberty. Still haven’t beat it but once I beat the Phantom liberty then I’ll go back

This playthrough I used the Archangel. Leveled my pistol skills and all that, got Deadeye and didn’t even need to aim anymore.

I’m on my fourth playthrough. Tried melee, knives, revolvers, and assault before.
Current build is a netrunning one, and not gonna lie, I ain’t feeling it. I’m starting to feel like the whole “press the button and the room go boom” schtick ain’t for me. It feels to straightforward, I rarely engage in actual combat, it’s just “if it is in my line of sight, I can kill it in a few miliseconds.”
