Again I really don’t see the problem here. There are professional use cases for this sort of thing. Normally the cards like this with high VRAM are expensive professional cards, I am actually happy this exists in a cheap consumer card.

There isn’t a “better” they are a company that’s goal is to make money, full stop.
Daily reminder that companies aren’t your friends and that if AMD was in NVIDIAs position for GPU market share leader, they’d be doing the same. The only reason they release stuff as a better value is out of necessity. If you can’t compete on features, give a better value… up until you find a niche and then capitalize on it. Every company does this.
All publicly traded companies only exist to funnel money to shareholders.

It really wouldn’t be able to use that much more vram because of it’s current performance. I think that’s why AMD unlocked the gpu a little bit more and why it’s at a higher tdp. Still there is only so much you can do I doubt this would be that much better they really should have just done a RX 6750 XT on RDNA 3 just like they did with the RX 7600 being a RDNA 3 RX 6650 XT.

I am confused, like I worked on microprocessors for a bit and 128bit or 64bit address bus allows for that much memory interfacing, so let’s say the memory controller has 4bit address bus, so 2^4 = 16 bits of memory can be interfaced and that’s it, it is not going to affect any other performance of the microprocessor with which it is interfaced with.
Since it is 128bit address bus, and is interfaced with 16gb vram, I really don’t see how even let’s say 256bit bus is going to help the gpu unless they improved the individual cores or added more cores to the gpu core count or did anything to improve the memory itself.
I may be completely wrong here too since I am still learning this, so do enlighten if I am wrong somewhere.

I doubt any of you would want to use an HD 2900XT just because it had a 512bit bus, or the >!PS2 !<GPU with its huge 2560 bit bus lol.
This is just like with overclocking, and how today doesn’t help as much as it did over 10 years ago. The improvements overclocking gave us 10+ years ago, have been achieved by improvements in IPC and efficiency on newer hardware.
Unless you have a *serious* need for a wider bus, gaming isn’t one of those needs.
