Just because you can see something from that angle in THIRD person, doesn’t mean your gun has clear line of sight.

You do realize shotgun spread doesn’t happen immediately right. It’s a cone closer you are to the target smaller your spread farther away the more spread. At a couple feet the spread is going to be very tight. You shot at the stock over his shoulder not his head. Your reticle dot wasn’t on his head and at that range the pellet spread is almost non existent so you shot the wall.

Looks like you shot the butt of his rifle, not his head. Tye rifle won’t show damage and essentially clip through onto the wall.
Aim where he going to be not where he has to pass .
