The 7800x3D runs cool, but I would still go for a dual tower air cooler… never heard of vetroo, but you can get quality dual tower air coolers for less than $80. Some as low has $50-$60 USD if u look at some of DeepCools stuff. Also get a better headset

  2. Correct me if I’m wrong but I see 2 CPU coolers, one air and one liquid. If so one of them is unnecessary.

  3. Don’t put rbg led strip in the case please.

  4. NuclearBuddah9369

Swap out the G702 for a 502 hero or 502 wireless, Hyper x cloud 2 for the headset, and go with the Kraken over the V5 and you’re golden.

  5. Claudius86S

Maybe wait for the 4070 ti super if you can?

  6. John_Mat8882

Why two CPU coolers? The vetroo is more than ok for a super budget one, but I’d not use the thing on a 7800x3D, use the nzxt.

All of the manuals handy, a good set of screwdrivers, a small magnet, USB drive for bios/os flash/install, list of benchmark tools to install after and a six pack. Good luck with the build and I hope it goes smoothly. Stay frosty and grounded 🍻

If you have the time and funds, I always recommend extra storage. Even inexpensive SSDs or HDDs. Doing it now will save you the headache of ripping all of your nice cabling apart, digging up the cables for your PSU that you stashed in some bin later.

Extra storage and a nice monitor arm. 👍

Can you upgrade to a 280 or 360 aio? could be overkill for your cpu but nice to have a cooler run for longevity. Return that veiroo air cooler. And depending on the game 8gb of vram may start to become an issue on the 4070ti. My buddy is a big gamer and he flipped his 4070ti pretty quick for a 6950xt last year.

  11. Jeepney_1

Return the headphones and get Aduze maxwell.

  12. ShutterBun

Combining so many different brands is going to be a PAIN to RGB unless you’re using something like SignalRGB.

  13. You did good, not sure why 2 coolers but oh well. As long as your ram is cl30 thats just fine, mouse I would switch to a hyperx pulsefire haste but thats just preference bc I like the lighter feeling and honeycomb plus it comes with grip tape and skates.

  14. questionablesmell

Double check and see if the ram is XMP (Intel) or EXPO (AMD) compatible because I just had to refund my sticks because I accidentally bought the wrong ones.

  15. Lovely mobo, I have it in a full white build

  16. 2 CPU coolers? Other than that looks good. I would probably recommend getting a solid non-gaming keyboard. For This amount of $ you can get a good prebuilt mechanical TKL or 75% which is cleaner and enough for most people (do you use numpad that much?), also they are generally of better quality and offer better overall experience in writing, imho. Apex 5 will have like no input lag but even if you are a Starcraft 2 competitive player then I legitimately don’t believe the difference is noticeable.

Anyways, enjoy that absolute monster of a PC!

    EDIT: spelling

  17. IQMaxLevel

I would recommend the Logitech g pro rather then the g703 but that’s just personal preference

  18. Get rid of that headphone and go buy yourself an apos pc38x. You’ll thank me later. Other than that banging system but why 2 cpu cooler?

  19. slappada-bass

get a better headset. mass drop x sennheiser pc38x. cost a bit more but will last for a long time. if you return the headset and the 2 coolers and buy a thermalright phantom spirit you’ll have enough money to get the good headset.

  20. Humble_Mix8626

doesnt your mobo come with a heatsinker? or did u buy the heatsink version without knowing?

  21. Assemble everything on to the motherboard and make sure everything works before installing inside the case.

  22. Walking__Icarus

    Yes, dont use nzxt aio’s

They are by far the worst ones to buy, nzxt proves that because there is a known brand painted onto it, it doesnt make it a good product

I always recommend deepcool, ArctiCool, BeQuiet! And (If you want the compatibility with other PC parts from them) corsair

  23. JustSomeGuy901252112

You will be able to play Skyrim Nolvus overhaul now.. Check it out, its a beast to run.

  24. Depending on what your use case is, i feel like 4070ti isnt usually the best purchase. For gaming you can get more value with amd (but in my honest opinion i could game on 1080ti without a problem), and for AI VRAM is king and you can get 4060ti for cheaper and it has more vram.

I have 4070ti and bought it when it was relatively cheap and 4060ti wasnt out yet, in hinsight i would have waited for 4060ti and gotten that 16gb vram

  25. No_Plan4196

Headset and mouse trash. And u don’t need the cpu air cooler. The AIO is better

  26. shaicnaan

You can improve your electricity bill by unplugging the pc whenever you are not home

  27. Straight-Geologist51

850 watts might be low, possibly 1000 watts or slightly higher.

  28. ClydeSaith

Don’t mind me for asking, but how much did all of this cost you? I plan on building one myself in the future and I am collecting info for the right parts for myself.

  29. If it were me, I’d return the 4070ti and go with literally any other brand. Gigabyte has gone full retard and doesn’t deserve anyone’s business.

  30. Putrid_Mobile_1923

Return 4070 Ti get AMD RX 7900xt

  31. iubjaved

Smart guy always buy two cooler.. one to cool your pc and the other one is for the wife!

  32. notsoepichaker

you have 2 CPU coolers, but the Kraken 240 is better

but actually why do people ask for advice on bettering their build after their shit has been purchased???

  33. Herzeild

Stick with the kraken, return the other cooler

  34. Flooredbythelord_

“Hey I bought all this shit already did I buy the right stuff?”

  35. TattayaJohn

Good choice with the air cooler- peace of mind.
