I find more of the comments lean towards the idea that if your hardware cannot sustain nuclear fusion then you are an ignorant peasant. I am firmly in the “you really don’t need all of that to play your silly game” camp.

I love the fact that my friend with a 4090 can’t get high frames on Remnant 2. It doesn’t get better than a 4090, a better card is not commercially available. Devs need to optimize their damn games.

This sub seems to be always saying stuff like “oh get more money and you can buy [insert 1 tier higher card]”. What if it’s a kid who had a budget? Not everyone has a job or another way of just magically poofing 50 bucks.

i commented on a post talking about how i was suprised how well a pc with a gtx 970 i found played spider man remastered (around 90fps low settings 21:9). one comment was constructive asking if i tried different settings. the other called it unplayable and called me a peasant for considering it a good experience
