I showed this off a couple of years ago but made some changes since then.
All of this is on a pallet rack. Very functional. Quite industrial, yet cozy(?). Ring light suspended above the “table” with ethernet nylon braiding. Had to drop it down because even though it’s an LED light, it was washing out my books’ colors.
I love how this looks, like you said, industrial yet weirdly cozy. I really like the workshop and old computer shop vibes, especially in the panarama picture
You should definitely get a better chair though, neither of those options look pleasant to sit on. Doing your neck and back a favor is never a waste of money
