Not really. That ssd and hdd combo is a huge flag already. Spend that money on your own parts and pay someone to build it for you

I priced out the second one on PCPartpicker, except with a 2tb M.2 SSD instead of the SSD+HDD. It came out to about £740, over £100 less than the list price.
The first one is an even worse deal, can tell at a glance.

That’s a scam

Hilariously bad

People in the comments clearly don’t see that it comes with a monitor and keyboard n mouse to get you started. The second one is pretty reasonable with the 12400F, I don’t know what pot are people smoking in the comments but I want that too!

Keyboard and mouse look sub Tommy Hilfiger levels of shit, in fact it could be the same OEM and that alone would make me say no.

If I’m paying over $1000usd I’m having a minimum of 32gb of ram and nvme storage, not a great deal

HDD in 2024 is never reasonable.

£100 for a monitor, keyboard and mouse?
Even a £100 monitor is going to be about as low-end as it get’s.

I built a comparable system for christmas for a relative for about £630, and had a 1tb SSD in it on a b550 + r5 5600 platform. The premium here is a bit high and can expect low tier ram/psu/storage.

these pc shops are imo always scam.
You would think those are the cool pc nerds from school you would instantly “click” with but in the end those are just scamy “haven’t learned anything, so I do this” guys.
(yes, I am generalizing, no I don’t care)
manic_marcy
HDD isn’t really viable anymore imo

Check CEX and see what systems they have and if they are in stock next to you. You can find amazing systems at really good prices. I had a 12700k 32gb ddr4 RTX3080 1tb NVME for £1050.00 last year in March.
