Because INNO3D charges less
My inno3D 1080 still goes, had the worst cooler of them all, but it still goes.
They actually pretty solid. Used a dual fan mode of the 4070 in a build for my friend and that thing stayed around 65C while very quiet
Because its a lesser known brand with worse support, cheaper components, and lower binned chips
Just not as known as the other brands in Europe, support possibly is harder to get hold of or RMA due to not being a “local” brand, otherwise they are like any other card. I would suggest you look at the reviews for a specific model against other AIBs before making a buying decision, but that goes for any GPU purchase. 🙂
My Inno3D RTX 4070 Ti X3 has very nice temps, no coil whine and it’s super silent. You can see some pictures in my profile, but I’m very happy with that brand!
Probably cheaper board components, simpler cooler designs. I’d say a second owner may see the effect of this, but as a first owner, if your PC has good airflow and you clean it regularly it should be fine.
Mainly for fewer / cheaper components, VRM’s, capacitors, lower power limits, etc. The core / memory Is still the same core / memory as all the other GPU’s but they tend to have fewer / lesser components on the PCB and more restricted power limits, still excellent cards If you just want a plug and play gaming card, will do anything the most expensive card does in that sense but will struggle with overclocks and have lower boosts and may run a tad hotter as they can be less efficient and have lesser cooling performance, nothing you’d ever really notice.
Edit* Example; Strix 4090 has 24 phase vrm’s Inno3d has 14 phase Vrm’s.
It can be cuz of many reasons like
1. All caps and chips are really cheap
2. Gpu pcb was made by Nvidia and the heatsink is not made from there facility and the aluminium is cheap and low quality idk about the copper
3. Not a really known company so they know they are not a companion
4. Country is really cheap so material order for them is cheap

The same reason there is an ASUS tax. Brand recognitions. I’ve used the less popular brands more often than not and to be honest I’ve had more failures with the more recognised brand names. My sample space is small so, there is no conclusion to be drawn.
Inno3D uses Nvidia reference boards and competes via budget, there are a decent brand, the cards work.
My Inno3D 4090 works like a charm

sometimes cheaper boards have much tighter component headroom. eg my Zotac 3080 i think has a lower power limit than more premium cards.
it can still run 100% at standard settings but maybe not much overclock potential. I’m cool with that as the chads all seem to undervolt instead these days.
I have a 4060 ti from inno3d, got the cheapest one with 3 coolers (the same version as the one on the post picture), highest temp I saw was around 62c on hottest days under load, mostly runs around 60c on full load.
Because they are banned for sale in the US
I have had this exact one since june 2023. It works as expected

6 years with my INNO 3D 1050 Ti and it’s still deploying like a beast.
I got Inno3D as it was the only 2-slot RTX-4070Ti (my Micro-ATX hasn’t got room for 3-slot GPU).
Been fine so far. Benchmarks and real-world performance satisfactory. It wasn’t that much cheaper: €830 instead of around €900 for the others, this was back in August.
Oh god this brought back memories about my old Inno3D GTX 650TI 2GB. This guy served me 12 years straight without any problem, artifact, or any service except cleaning it from dust last 2 years of service. It was such a good card, but to be fair 1050ti 4gb (this time from KFA2, another small brand) is waaay better.
Well you probably comparing inno3d budget model to high end Asus/gigabyte model, reputable brand usually charge significantly more for their higher end,budget model inno3d and budget model asus price isnt really that much different (30 usd a most)
Possibly because they’re manufactured in Shenzen? If you’ve watched any of Gamers Nexus’ factory tour videos you would it is somewhat of a “hub” of electronics manufacturing, with the supply for basically *everything* in one place; this saves on transport costs of parts.
Never even heard of them before so maybe that’s why lol
I picked up a INNO3D 2060 and Ive been more than satisfied with it. Just a smaller brand using budget materials to make budget cards.
For me personally they shined with bad customer support, loud fans and heat issues.
My Inno3D 3060Ti is awesome, had it for years, really happy with it.
The company has been around for a long time, I remember them making GPUs 20+ years ago.
These “bargain bin” ones that are cheapest ones run perfectly great. There is never any reason to spend $200 extra on a beefier cooler. Back in the day when all coolers sucked and everything ran at 90 degrees it made sense. Everything is so well made anymore and run in the 70’s it’s almost always perfectly fine

I bought the 4070ti because it’s slim and fits in my miniATX case. And i did not regret it.
Had the choice of only a few other brands like Zotac and others which had shorter cards.

This is all speculation as I have never heard of this company or have I done even the smallest amount of research;
Possible that they have narrower profit margins and do so to try and reach a wider market. A lot of PC enthusiasts are brand associated, they will only use brands they like/trust or that they have used before. For a “smaller” company it might be hard to stand out on just specs alone, so a lower price point might be how they attract a customer base.
Or they might have an agreement with a distributor/manufacturer in your region that allows them to produce and ship their cards closer to cost without reducing their profits.
Tbh I haven’t heard of this company at all and their cards don’t even seem to have much (if any) market share in my region (australia).
