On the bright side, you have room for another PC in there.

cables are going to be everywere it will work but would be best to get a itx/mini atx case.

After my last build 20 years ago, I am in the race again! so… in short words: I was not aware that the mini itx format even existed. I ended up having a giant case holding a miniature mobo. I also ordered a rtx4070 with 3 fans that is still to arrive, so at this point I don’t know if after all I needed this size of a case or if there is something more compact that could fit it. Will update this post when done.
And worst case scenario: I will need a lot of funkos !

I did this recently with the same board in an m-atx case. I think it turned out pretty good, I had lots of room for water cooling. You can check it out on my latest post if you want

Reaver_1989
I don’t see the problem. That motherboard looks completely normal. Maybe even too large for that case.
AndroidNougat7
Mistake? This setup looks actually great!
Onearm111
Your mobo looks like it’s trying to compensate for something in that case lol

I bought some 90 degree adapters for my USB 3 and others for the *next time* I have to open my machine. Might want to look into that! It’ll help cable management – unless you’re getting CableMod/etc.

Congratulations you’re every system builder on Amazon now

The important part is how you use it
Practical_Mulberry43
What kind of Mobo is that, OP?
I suppose… On the bright side, cooling won’t be an issue!
Interested to see how this build goes!

Should’ve made it a Raspberrypi

Funny thing is, there still isn’t enough room for a 4090.

I was just looking at that board… for a NAS in a Node 804 lol your GPU is going to be bigger than that thing xD

this is just funny

I have an ITX board in my Fractal Torrent but I also fitted an AIO to the CPU and a second one to the GPU so you’d never know it wasn’t matx/atx as you can’t see it anyway!
Benscapes
It’s not the size of the board that matters, it’s the size of your RAM and other peripherals- and by the looks of it you can jam a mega f**kton in there. Overcompensating the tiny guy always evens out.
I will say it myself;
that checks out.

The mandatory toy inside the case would need to be 12 inches tall.

Only can put in two ram sticks :/ defintely not future proofed

I have a m-atx in my full size case. Also looked lost until the triple fan 3 slot GPU went in.

You know those memes when a small girl walks with a tall guy….
When i do budget builds for friends i sometimes end up usong small form factor boards if they are cheaper, but i use standard fitting cases most of the times because they can upgrade later easier.

That motherboard is yes. Buying that tiny junk makes no sense, ever. Except when building a tiny PC in a tiny case.
