As the dark and swirling spire of light emitted in the distance. A neon shadow stood alone on the edge of a buoy. His neon green costume glowed brightly against the black sky, and his eyes flashed. But as he stood there, a strange feeling came over him. It was as if he was fighting an invisible force, a force that seemed to be familiar. As he struggled to understand what was happening, he suddenly found himself face to face with a holographic clone. The clone seemed to be moving on its own, mirroring his every move with an eerie precision. It was as if he was fighting himself, but in a physical sense. It was a battle of the mind, a battle against his own doubts and fears. Echo knew that he had to overcome this inner turmoil if he was to continue his fight against the corrupt forces in the city and darknesses outside. With a deep breath, he closed his eyes and focused on the memories gained that had always guided him in the past. Slowly, he felt the invisible force within him begin to parallel his moves, and he opened his eyes to see that his clone had stopped moving on its own. The AI finally understood his sense of purpose.
It finally accepted their roll. A protector to its host. Not a parasite or a glutton.
A perfect symbiosis.
In sync.
Finally……
Echo leaped onto his cycle, knowing that he had conquered the greatest enemy of all: himself. He never forgot the important lesson he learned on those docks: sometimes, the greatest battles are the ones we fight within ourselves.
But this night was far from over. The Other shadows saw the beam of light from a local haunted amusement park, where people have reported strange and terrifying occurrences.
As Tango and Zulu arrived at the amusement park, they were immediately met with sinister laughter and eerie whispers in the air. The once vibrant and lively park was now shrouded in age and emptiness. Venturing deeper into the park, ghostly apparitions and malevolent spirits that seemed to materialize out of thin air appeared. Creating cursed pressure and energy. Each section of the park tethered to a herald of Artur. They fought nobly, their weapons slicing through the hordes of undead as they rid the park of it. However, when they thought they had triumphed over the evil forces, the ground beneath their feet began to shake, and the park itself seemed to come alive. Rides started moving on their own, and the ninjas found themselves facing an even greater threat – the amusement park itself was a powerful entity, controlled by Artur and his lantern. The team knew they had to act quickly and decisively, but being short handed they combined their cybernetic abilities to fend off the heralds just a little longer.
Would you believe it?….
The cavalry arrived…
Echo with his clone unleashed a barrage, aiming to disrupt the spirit’s hold on the park. Their efforts seemed to be in vain. As Artur was growing stronger the less damage he took.
And the haunted amusement park began its final transformation. Just as Artur could open the portal unleashing the God Hand. Tango managed snipe his lantern with the mace from his Kusari-gama cracking the frame.
Sparing time from the inevitable.
With the park warping reality, the neon ninjas retreated , knowing their mission was a failed attempt. They disappeared into the night. The city was safe if only on borrowed time…….. the shadows must end this before all hallows eve….. for it won’t be Artur, but the God Hand taking control of the world.
