I did this mission just last week, I tried driving normally with the flow of traffic and this happened. I felt so bad I reloaded a save and did it much faster the second time.

I was so pissed. I got that mission when I didn’t have a car, so I grabbed one and went over, but then he died at the second scripted interruption! I remembered having waaaay more time the first go-round.

With me he didn’t even wait until the car stopped. I thought it was just normal “in pain” dialogue, kept driving pedal to the metal and he just jumped.
