It is possible. Looks like you got a good card there. Keep in mind that with an overclock you’ll only get about a 5 to maybe 10 fps increase while also making the card hotter. If you don’t want it to run hotter than it is then look up undervolting.
Define stable.
It’s fine. My 4070 TI is +185 on core and 1825 on mem. Totally stable.
Run a gpu stress test for an hour
Like if its not crashing its stable, that memory overclock is wild though since thats not even on GDDR6X
If you notice zero artifacts and your memory temperatures are okay I’d say go for it if it yields a decent gain in FPS (just test the impact +0 versus +1700).
But it will work the VRAM harder, however if you have good airflow/cooling it should be fine.
If it’s not crashing while gaming you’re good. Do remember however that synthetic load is just that, synthetic. I had many overclocks that were 100% stable for hours on end in synthetics but crashed in real world conditions. If you pass synthetics make sure to play a demanding game for a few hours too and if it doesn’t crash or artifact you got lucky with the silicon lottery 🙂 It’s rare to get such high mem clocks but it’s not unheard of, my laptop’s 3070 got like +1600 on the memory running 100% stable.
The GPU might not be outright crashing but it’s highly likely that it’s gonna have errors and will have to spend time correcting them. That much OC on the mem will probably decrease performance
