Picked up an Acer Nitro for gaming, and installed core temps because I was curious more than anything…
Playing God of War at medium always triggers high temps, but never consistent high temps, just random spikes in each core, but enough to flag the max….
Recently, I’ve been playing a lot of Baldurs Gate 3, and same thing. I don’t notice any stuttering or issues at all. The laptop keyboard gets a little warmer than warm, but not hot, especially over the heat sink area. I have the laptop on a cooling pad with great airflow and nitro set to auto cooling so the fans adjust when they need to. Anything I should be worried about here? Is a random spike enough to flag Core Temps something to worry about?

203F / 95C is fine, do you see if the chip is throttling down at all?
I bet doing a repaste with good stuff would bring it down some if heatsink isn’t junk
Idk much about these but are you on stock cooling? I think these are designed to basically run at this temp… though obviously it will throttle once it starts to reach its max allowed temp
