I bought this pc 3 years ago I really didn’t know much. The only thing I upgrade was change the ram to 16gb. That was until literally last month I finally put a 3060 card in it. 2 days ago I was playing call of duty and I noticed my pc was hot while just sitting at the main menu. Now my pc does not turn on at all. Did I fry the pc? I bought it for six hundred something dollars but they don’t sell this pre build anymore so probably not worth stressing. I just need confirmation because I can return the 3060 until the end of January.

Hello Skyislimitbro, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!

To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!

Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

*I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/gamingpc) if you have any questions or concerns.*

So… you were happy to upgrade your pc, but not willing to clean your pc. Based on your level of knowledge form this post (not meaning to cause offence, just stating logical facts) it could be you knocked something whilst installing your new gpu.

Firstly… clean your damn pc man.

Check the ram seating, cpu cooler, mobo cable (24pin), cpu cable (4 pin connection). Is the pc even receiving power? You could’ve just turned off the switch on the back of the psu. Check the power cable itself to see if its even plugged in straight.

There are 1000 things that could be causing the issue. r/pcsupport is a more appropriate sub for pc tech related issue btw

I would also notice when on a YouTube sometimes random squares would pop up on the screen

I’m surprised an IBuyProblems lasted 3 years without ever being cleaned.
