Agreed! I built a new machine around six months ago and RDR2 was the first game I played. I couldn’t believe how good things looked in 1440p with a decent framerate.
5 YEARS? it feels like it was barley a year ago…

I’m loving it too, just got it recently. Looks incredible on my 1440p 40” Ultrawide.
Battlefield 1 still looks and runs better in my opinion(it running better isn’t opinion though)
Finished it about a week ago. Absolutely incredible game. Possibly the best game.
Your rear fan is set as intake, I recommend flipping it the other way to optimize airflow…

Best game I’ve ever played. Easily my #1 most played by a couple hundred hours.
I really do believe that RDR2 with a Path Tracing Patch would be the best, most photorealistic game we ever had and will have for the foreseeable future. It would also murder my 4090. It would basically be a game for the next generation of GPUs (about a year from now).
Do I need to play rdr before rdr2? Seriously interested in trying it.
Yet here we are to believe we need a 4080ti to play anything thst looks that good. Games are lagging hard amd the lack of optimization in newer games is proof
Ive had this game 3 years ago and got bored when i played it. Im currently giving it another try and starting to get the hang of it. Playing this game with 4090 and Neo G8 monitor is just a master piece experience. Hdr kind of boosted the experience even more. I find myself travelling in a slow paced just to sight seeing.
It’s a masterpiece, nothing else to add.
This game runs comfortably on a 1060/RX580 at 1080p… Let that sink in, i just can’t excuse newer games looking worse and running even worse.
Graphics haven’t really upgraded in the last 5 years, we only got some minor lighting changes over a decade.

Does it need Rockstar Launcher as well?
Hopefully it doesn’t crash. Also it’s only 4 years old on PC
Controls and combat sucks though.
Remember to use DLDSR/+ DLSS as this game has one of the worst AA implementations I’ve seen, unless you are at 4K.
