CPU and GPU temps seem to be much better than before, just wondering if there are any risks that I might be unaware of by continuing to use this?

Well now i’m glad that i’m not alone with the same issue ), yesterday posted the same question here, even the same cooler, graphics and motherboard different, and my cooler actualy is touching my graphics card, but everyone also said it’s ok so i guess we good 👍

I reckon you should clean your case fans while youre tinkering anyway. Clearance is clearance, there might be an arguement that heat from the backplate on the gpu and heat from the dual tower sink will heat eachother up over longer periods of gaming, but I think its a non issue tbh.

It’s OK but most of those coolers have an offset to the heat pipes. You can probably rotate it ang get about 10mm clearance

The right answer is yes. It is too close, particularly when you actually assemble your gpu properly which means it needs to be screwed in. That leaves no clearance for heat dissipation but having them close together like that means heat transfer between them. The problem with a lot of these isnt if it will work or not, its just simply good practices to follow to prevent weird behaviours on your machine. If you are in a hot country then that will for sure be an issue in hot days. Particularly if your rtx has the dissipador on top. Again, its not a matter of will it work its just good vs bad assembly. What cpu are you running? You may not even need that huge a cooler for it.

Yes = Something is mounted incorrectly.
Also, mount your graphics card properly by screwing it to the case. You’re just asking to crack the cards PCIe connector or rip the PCIe slot off your motherboard if you don’t.
