Better than nothing, give it a go
Probably not “enough” but the CPU can manage its own thermals. It won’t allow itself to overheat, and it’ll use every last bit of performance that cooler can offer.

I do that with my gpu when the powerspikes in a few games are too high with my small psu

honestly i was surprised with small arctic CPU coolers, i had one and it shaved off about 7-12 C (under load) compared to stock intel cooler on core2duo e5700, pentium g4560 and i5 7400
Set max ppt in bios at 65w and it should be good.

I’m using a double tower cooler with two fans – the CPU is designed to max thermals, so I’d be reluctant to think you’ll get full efficiency with a cooler like that.

The standard cooler that comes with that type of cpu is significantly bigger.
But you can google that type and see what processors it can work with

What AIO cooler do you have? When I originally bought my NZXT Kraken it didn’t have the AM5 bracket but it still worked fine. I replaced it when the AM5 screws arrived

I use a factory AMD Wraith cooler that came with my 3700x on my 5800x3d, and it cools really well even though I was lead to believe it wouldn’t. 73° is the hottest I’ve seen it. I believe you’ll be fine.
Can you not just use the am4 bracket? That’s what I did.
Ryzen constantly runs at max IIRC, so it’l seem like it’s about to thermotrottle (but it’s by design to be at maximum available performance at all time), the stock (wraith) coolers are of similar size and have a shrouded heatsink, I recon you’re good with this one.
I’m still using mine with a 5800x3D and get great performance out of it.
Ryzen runs warm by design, they can handle 90c all day long. I would say derate your game specs until you get a bigger cooler and make sure you put a fresh layer of good thermal paste down when you swap. Monitor your temps too
I’m running my ryzen 7800x3d at 50°c idle temps! Quite annoying but think i have to get used at it! Came from 5800x which was hardly to get above 70°c full use! So new ryzens run surely a lot hotter! But be aware, with ur AIO temps should not be any better!

65 cooler on a 105 cpu is bit low, but… will you be even able to heat that cpu up?
Without full load it will be more than enough.
It’ll be fine just don’t try to do any heavy gaming or benchmarks.
Monitor the temps, maybe downclock/undervolt the cpu if need be.
Just put your pc into a freezer,If your fan isn’t good enugh.

You can set something line 75 or 80 degrees temp limit in bios and CPU will throttle to fit in this limit. You can run even 16 cores safely with this cooler until you get something better
If you get one of the wraith coolers that like the 3600 had for $5 that 100% will be enough (I use it and my pc hasn’t exploded or gotten close to 90°)
AM5 chips undervolt really well actually and you can tinker with it if you like. Theres easy quick undervolts too like how Asus bios allows you to set a thermal limit, or msi bio has something called kombo strike

Guys, relates question. For a 7800x3D I’m going to get a 280mm Kraken from NZXT. Do I need anything extra like this bracket OP mentions?
i use the stock fan on my 5600. If you don’t overclock its all you will need.
I think i have it under volting also, as 4.5 is more then enough for the games I run as the gpu is the bottle neck. Running a 6700xt
Out of the box the 7600x, runs very hot. But the 7600 is actually incredibly efficient. That’s about the same size as the 7600 box cooler. So if you turn on eco mode it should be completely fine
Im still using my 2700x stock cooler on my 7700x. It works but waiting on my peerless assassin
I would be willing to be money your score in all core workloads doesn’t change more than 5 percent.
An AIO on a 7600x is a complete waste of money.
Well if you’re in budget at the moment give it a go and possibly try to get something better soon when you can
