He has been wanting one a while to game on… I know nothing about computers, but had a friends husband check out the specs for me to make sure it would meet his needs. Hopefully he gets a lot of use out of it! It’s a refurb from New Egg

    congrats

and good job blurring the kids face. too many people share their kids with complete strangers on the internet.

  5. I’m totally far from knowing about ergonomics, but I believe maybe he needs a feet rest? I guess it will not be comfortable with his legs hanging?

Just guessing, tho! I don’t know if it’s bad for him or not.

He is playing castle crashers, what a gangsta.

Get him a foot rest or a smaller chair, will avoid many pains in the future lol. Also, nice!

Get the kid to use wasd like the rest of us. The sooner he does that, the sooner he’ll be able to play more complicated games

Decent PC especially for the price but if he wants to play anything more than Fortnite he’s going to need a better PC

So cute!!!! This reminds me of a pic of my boyfriend when he got his first pc. Lookin so small compared to the chair and setup lol

Ahh i remember my first 386 with my 200 lb crt monitor hanging lightly over my bed on a weak ass mount about to flatten me.

Do him a favour and tell him WASD are better arrow keys so he can use his right hand for the mouse

That nice but please just do your best not to make him addicted

  14. NotMoltres

The addiction begins! Next thing you know he’s gonna be using a 5090ti with RGB lights all over 🤣

Is he having trouble to put his feet down?

It’s bad for his back if he can’t.

Now your 10 year old needs to learn it should be put on a small table/stool; not the floor. 😁

You’ll have a virus by the end of the week. Jk

  18. croxefer

Get something for him to rest his feet on and place some pillows behind his back to rest the back properly too.

Wow, a 10yr just put me to shame. Posture and PC.

So I keep seeing the posts. And it honestly pains me in a certain way. I worry for my child when he grows up. I don’t agree games are bad or can’t be used as learning tools. But when I see rigs like these I can only imagine in my head were kids get so attached to these things.

  21. quazkapeck

Wow nice setup! I have the same rig at my house.

  22. I salute you for getting him a normal office chair thats actually good for his back, rather than an overpriced and uncomfortable gaming chair.
