Ive searched Amazon and Newegg and cant find anything that is compact enough or that is tall enough to use.

The clearance from desk top to top of the monitor us 22 inches. So would need something that can telescope to 24-26 inches.

I have seen speaker stands in some builds posted here and other computer subs that look like little tripods with a telescoping rod and angular mounting. But have not been able to find anything like that in my own searches.

I would like to avoid wall mounted stuff. I cant have paint peeling off on removal since I rent.

Nice setup get yourself pc soundbar.

can i ask why not just mount the monitor instead? then you could use any size speakers and have more customization with where your monitor is

  3. Affectionate_Gas8062

I have the same background, it’s so cozy!

  4. Quiet_Source_8804

Would there be room for the speakers if the PC was under the desk?

  5. PraiseTheWLAN

Almost identical to mine! You got taste

  6. Fluid-Manager5317

Logitech z407, just over a hundred. Comes with subwoofer. The speakers are adjustable and appear to be short enough in one of the configurations.

  7. bootes_droid

Put the tower on the floor and move the speakers to the outsides of the monitor.

  8. mrdeathlad

Just lay the speakers on thier side? That’s what I do.

Something like this maybe, height adjustable up to 24″ I think so should clear. Comes with different feet for either carpet or hard surface (desk).

Unless wall mount are an option. If so you could wall mount them with platforms that are capable of tilting down to aim slightly down at you from above the monitor.

Not the point of discussion, but this is a clean little setup! I like it

Ngl, my speakers just fire into the back of my monitor. Still sounds good enough, but I’m also the opposite of an audiophile. Otherwise you can just lay your speakers on their side, it’ll potentially look a little dumb, but the sound quality will improve.

Lysol wipes container should work alright…

  13. ArasakaApart

Could just move the PC off your desk or behind the monitor and have the speakers on both sides..

  14. Zuckernuts

Could you put your pc on the floor or get a wider desk?

  15. LordAkam

What if you use a monitor arm to clear desk space and have the monitor above speakers?

  16. Cthundeheito

You could mount your speakers to the wall maybe?

  17. InfectedSteve

I have my speakers laying on their sides and they tuck right up under my monitor edge.

  18. Highlander198116

It would be easier and cheaper to just mount your speakers on the wall.

I mean, you could literally just get a cheap shelf to mount on the wall just above your monitor and place them on the shelf.

  19. IronDiggy

Is installing a floating shelf and then getting speaker wedges that point slightly down out of the question?

  20. That’s one massive monitor. Do games use its full width?

  21. Badassinternetguy

You’re not going to get cheap speakers with that clearance and even if you could why would you want your audio to come from cheap sound when you’ve invested so much into it.

You don’t need to mount your monitor but as people have stated when you have limited space no point in putting your pc on your desk.

If you insist on it being there you just mount the speakers behind and those brackets are very expensive.

Best option though is spend 200 on a dac/amp and get some decent headphones or iems and that’s how you get the best sound and save space. Speakers are trash for quality and immersion unless you’re spending a lot of money

  22. Ericisbalanced

Bet you’d have cool recommendations at r/audioengineering

  23. Cheefnuggs

In most places small holes from mounting screens/pictures/etc are considered normal wear and tear and shouldn’t disqualify you from your deposit. Also, some putty to fill them in when you’re done is super inexpensive.

Steelseries speakers. I like them I have arena 7.

  26. RefrigeratorLazy4135

Can’t you just build or buy 2 little shelves just big enough for the speakers?

I’ve been thinking about getting a curved mointor. How are you finding yours?

  27. LeDerpBoss

I would buy the razer leviathan v2x personally.

Vivo speaker stands I have some wall mounted one for my tv if you are interested in looking at wall ones

These stands are currently holding up 15lb (each) klipsch rp150m’s they are at the lowest mark and can go up way higher.

Personally I think these stands at the highest elevation on the back corners of your desk would be ideal – however youll need to take in consideration rear clearance for the shelves that are on the stands. But with your speakers that would look amazing. Considering its a sit stand desk im sure this also might be the best idea so you dont accidently lift the desk into the wall mounted speakers.

  29. I’m in a similar situation and was trying to mount some pretty good studio monitors. Gave up and just laid them horizontally behind my monitor. Works just fine.

  30. Mr_krispi

Don’t go cheap on a monitor arm for an ultra wide. I had the Humanscale m10 and ended up swapping it for an Atdec Arm. A bit cheaper but smaller foot print on the clamp and has help up my 49” ultra wide with no issues.

  31. Full-Hyena4414

I always see that wallpaper, please tell me where you found it and if there are others with that style

  32. Xcissors280

Raise your monitor and put the speakers sideways, raising them that high up means you can’t hear them as well

  33. _plays_in_traffic_

id just lay the speaker sideways and be done with it. but i just want somethings that works fine, not aesthetically pleasing
