I just bought an HP omen 30L with a 3080 and Ryzen 5 5600X in it for $700 but unfortunately I know almost next to nothing about AMD cpus as I’ve always bought PCs with intels stuff in them in the past. Is this a solid CPU overall and is there anything I should be aware of with using AMD over Intel ones?

Nice, I have 5600 without an X and I am quite happy with this processor, not much to complain about, the bottleneck in my system is the gtx 1070.

Just got a 5800x3d for crismas from a 2600x now I gotta figure out how to update the bios lol
