Hi guys I found this pc and I’m trying to see if it’s worth the price tag, I’m trying to sell my old pc right now too
Also it’s in Australian so it’s $2034 usd, it’s been sitting there since march.
I got mixed answers back about it some people say it’s a killer deal other say 1/4 priced gpu’s beat it .
Thanks in advance

Its a good pc, if it was 2021 or so. Its slightly dated but its still an incredibly capable high refresh 1440p pc, and very much capable 4k60+ and this is coming from someone who does have a 3080 ti and (soon) 7800x3d. If you have the cash to splurge on it, go for it. Though if youre gonna be gaming on it exclusively, id probably swap the 5950x for a 5800x3d if youre going to stick to am4.
What have they meant by 1/4 priced GPUs beat it. That’s less than(or around) what the GPU would good for alone. And that only factors the GPU. To compete with the specs you would be spending $1500(usd) easy. And that’s not factoring Ray Tracing performance.
As for if it is worth it. Depends. As someone who watercools, half the point is not have “a” loop, but “your” loop. Again you can get equal performance for a fair bit less. But a loop like that is would run you an easy $600-$700, so if you want watercooled, it is not a horrible price.
Edit: just happened to see the other comment, do not feel pressured to swap the 5950x for the 5800x3d, you get occasionally better performance, but half the cores.
I would say its perfectly acceptable for the price.
I am not a fan of custom loop cooling but that is really just my personal paranoia, plus I don’t want to have to deal with maintenance it will need in a few years of treating and/or replacing the fluid.
You wont be able to upgrade it easily since that is the last generation of AM4 and having to remove the loop to change anything is a huge PITA.
So if you are prepared to deal with the maintenance, then yes, its reasonable for the price.
Is it just me or does some of the water-cooling runs look a little off?
Hell no, you could get a 4090+7800x3d build for that price.
AHhhhhhhaahahhaahh NOOOOOOOOOO
valued at $7999 (after smoking a pound of crack)
You can get a 7800x3d + 4080 build for under $2900 AUD new. So no
You’re going to have a lot of fun if/when you need to do some maintenance on someone else’s hard line water cooled build
First off the “valued at “ price is an absolute joke, nobody is paying anywhere near that price for even top of the line current gen components, definitely not last gen not even highest end parts. Technically considering the price of water cooling parts and labor assembling all that it’s not completely terrible if the aesthetics are worth several hundred dollars to you but it’s most certainly not at all giving you performance to match that premium, and can easily be beaten in performance by a non custom water cooled pc. Especially if you’re gaming, where there’s just no reason to get a 5950x.
Again, just to be clear here, 8 grand is an absolute lie of a “normal price”. Even 4 grand would be a big upcharge, 8 grand is not anywhere near the realm of accuracy.
Op, please build your own. This seems like it’s a bad idea fairy written all over. Why does it have the psu listed twice? Or does it have 2 psus?
This is a shit price, they were banking on the custom water loop
You have to keep in mind that this is used too, you can buy a better performance with brand new parts system for cheaper. Have a look on r/bapcsalesaustralia
Fuck that. They’re delusional
Edit: just saw it was AUD, still could build a hell of a new rig for that much money with warranties and such. I would personally just build my own
Cashies really borked that price tag
Well I found it at Cashies mate where you can find your dreams!!
Cash converters? If we had truth in business naming laws it would be methamphetamine/heroin converters.
Even if this was a good deal I wouldn’t want to touch it.
Gotta love the three layers of price tags (or is it four?) I think the last one was $3,499.
They don’t even have RAM listed. They must be *insane* to value that rig at 8k.
If it’s been sitting there since March it’s a pretty good indication that it’s overpriced
Well they paid $1500 for it according to the price tag (used to work there. Cost price is coded in bottom right corner)
In this persons mind value == msrp of all components combined. 😛
Meh.
I was always told to avoid second hand parts unless they were really needed or affordable. Someone mentioned it was strange that they listed the psu twice. In South Africa cash converters is known for fucking up the names of things they advertise. I’d want to make sure the parts listed where actually in there. I saw one by me charging an Nintendo switch with a standard type c cable… Just an example.
Lmao…. Lack of x3D CPU & lack of even a current Gen GPU for 2k USD /3k AUS? Nah man. You can do better, not familiar with Australian electronic stores, but there has to be a better option here
Just had my 3080 ti FE die after 3 years, right out of warranty, feels crappy. I have ancient cards still working, and some in this forum tell me that’s how long they’re supposed to last, PSUs come w 10 yr warranty and GPUs with 3yr bc that’s how long they last. I call bullshit and I’m going AMD for my next build this year
This is not a good deal. Here is an example of a pc that will severely outperform this at a similiar price point. You can probably get it for under 3k on boxing day.

Cooling tubes in my opinion looks terrible
A decent build but holy f##k … valued at 8k?!?!
Not a chance, couldn’t even value it at 3k brand new
That’s worth about 1500 USD. Google tells me that’s around 2200 Aus. So it’s a fair price but definitely not worth 8K. Maybe a few years ago during the crypto boom.
Terrible price, you can build something better with less
Build your own and get better for the same. I built earlier this year and paid about 3k
valuted 8k for aorus stuff lol
Mate it’s cashies you know the score
It has 2 1600watt psu big steal. 🤣🤣
This is an Australian store… If this system works, $AU2999 is a legit bargain.
Hard pass.
Ol’ mate cashies. The garage sale with working hours and AC.
As you are from aus I recommend this YouTuber. Really good at finding deals/ price to performance https://youtu.be/y87sspyu4Es?si=sJq3UdMlmezjtupF
Why is there a 1600 watt power supply in this computer
No is absoluty not
