Does it only happen on that part of the screen or anywhere you move the cursor? Entirely guessing but the former could be a monitor issue, the latter, your GPU

  2. Sacred_B

That’s a display issue. You need to replace the monitor unfortunately. LCDs do weird things when they fail.

One row of pixels beginning to fail on your monitor.

  4. B5Vorlon

Monitor issue. Mouse is white – 100% RGB. Every pixel has 1 red 1 green and 1 blue led. When you drag mouse somewhere else Other pixels must switch to 100/100/100. Every pixel is connected vertical and horizontal. So in your situation Vertical “logic” to that pixel is damaged.

  5. Definitely dead monitor, either live with it or replace. Unlikely this is repairable

Try reconnecting cable both to your monitor and GPU

  7. Head_Butterscotch74

Looks like a dead pixel. It is still worth trying another cable, port, or just make sure plugged in real well.

  8. That’s permanent. You can try putting pressure by squeezing the bezel where the line is and it might go away. Worth a shot.

  9. UnComfortable-Archer

A sniper trying to take out your cursor. Be careful!

Looks like a monitor scaler or internal cable problem, but it could also be part of the panel itself.

  11. Is this the horizontal center of the screen? I once had a similar problem with a defective HDMI cable
