Worked on my build 3 times since getting a case with tempered glass side panel. Apparently defying all odds it seems, especially with a granite counter top workspace, the glass panel remains unbroken somehow…
It’s really funny how reddit makes this appear to be really common. I see shattered glass panels here almost daily while i have never seen one in my life. I myself removed and put on a glass panel hundreds of times. As did many people i know. Never had or heard this happening…
So, i guess i feel power 😀

mine has been shattered for a few months and there isn’t a replacement. sleeping has been hard since, the fan noises can be excruciating

I’m going to be building my first PC in about two weeks, probably less. My PC case has a tempered glass side panel. I’m going to be building it in my kitchen, no tiles but vinyl floor stuff. After seeing so many broken side panels, I’m considering covering the floor in blankets.

Ya’ll really busting your glass this much? I have a Tower 900 that I’ve had since early 2017 when they first dropped & that thing has survived for over half a decade and a couple of moves.

My glass panel didn’t break during the move to my new place. I’ve never broken a glass panel in my life, I’m proud of myself.
Now I have set the flag tall and straight, watch me post shattered glass later.
