I constantly switch between Mac/Win/Lin, so wanted a setup which could manage everything with the same peripherals without looking like a gaming lightshow.
Everything is plugged into a Thunderbolt 4 Docker, and I only need to swap one cable for everything to swap between my PC and Mac. You can see the female TB4 female connector sticking up under the monitor to the left, that’s for the PC, otherwise I just plug it into the Mac directly. Finally the PC is dual-booting Win11 & Ubuntu 22.04.
Also got a standing desk with everything including the PC mounted under the desk. Finally, the mouse which is a G Pro Wireless Superlight is wirelessly charged, so I never have to connect it. I also carved some cable channels into the wool-deskmat which hides most of it.
