I decided to try and put a dog bone into the dog house and see if it was an alternative way of spawning in a companion and instead it gave me this and I was genuinely shocked. Curious to see if this is a glitch? Or if this is intentional as a punishment for trying to use the bone in another manner.

I guess the considers it a bad item.
The game will spawn a hostile hellhound if anything besides the required amount of meat is inserted into the doghouses, so I’m guessing they didn’t have any special interaction for this case.
That sucks for it wasting your dog bone, but I appreciate you experimenting it!
maybe it needs 3 or 4 dog bones. Seeing it was the T3 dog house.
I thought you are supposed to use the dog bone yourself not put that in the house? Am I wrong. Let me know I have two of them lol
