They should make the glass on these plexiglass or just normal glass.
Tempered glass is just too fragile for this use case, and it makes a huge mess when broken. Causing a huge danger too every one around, especially little kids and animals.
Normal non tempered glass would have just cracked along the stress line and not shattered all over the floor.
Plexiglass would be the best option. It’s really hard to break plexiglass glass. It probably would have just dented or scratched it.

I have a Fractal Desing R5 with those sound damping solid panels. I have a fairly capable PC but I don’t see the point RGB and glass.
That being said, I did drop my pannel once when I was cleaning my PC. That mofo cracked my tile. That’s a good pannel right there haha

So let me ask the sub, are there any good cases out there that use a sheet of acrylic instead of tempered glass for the side panel? Or if we don’t want glass our other option is a solid sheet of metal?
