What did she do to prepare herself mentally for such a role? No matter how you slice it songbird is a heavy/dark role to play.

How does it feel to be in cyberpunk 2077 with idriss Elba and keanu Reeves ?

Why didn’t you phone us at the end of the game, So Mi?!
Nah for reals – Did you base So Mi off of anybody in the way you chose to voice the character?
Edit: Also – love your interviews Dan.
LazyHitman1
How much did you know about Cyberpunk: 2077 before going into it?
archiegamez
What is the hardest part of voicing the character? What franchise would like to see yourself voicing in the future?
LordMonkeh
How does it feel to one of the most divisive characters in the game?
Knightmareco
How did she feel when acting Song’s last lines in both paths, where she feels so… Broken.
Fuwa_Fuwa_Hime
Do you feel So Mi parallels V in a certain way? Who is your favorite character?
(P.S. Thanks, Dan!)
Hopeful-Internet-263
What does she believe her character goes after the moon ending?
Also, amazing VA and performance from ther part.
ibenwarforged
Okay okay okay, how’s the moon?

Would you ever install cyberware on your body?
stomcode
Did you get to do the motion capture work at all (at least for the cinematic trailer) or was it a pure voice acting role?
Piankhy444
Did you have a favorite line or was there a particular conversation that you enjoyed the most when you were acting as Songbird?
Also, how do you think Songbird views V in both endings? >!It’s worth noting that even in the Reed route, she still puts herself out there to protect us from the rogue AI’s, even though we betrayed her.!<
Saracre21
Was there any apprehension to be in the game following the orinigal release in 2020?
supremelyR
what are some of your favorite details about songbird and her character? her sense of style is top notch 🙂
Khaine123
Did you record in a booth with the other voice actors or were you mostly talking by yourself?
MrGengisSean
As someone with pretty unpleasant PTSD, whether she knows it or not, she did an excellent job of showing what someone with severe PTSD looks like when masking their issues.
My question is, did she intend for that part of the performance, or was it just a sort of happy accident?
HS55_delta2
Ask if she’s played any of the game herself
RedStreamTeam22
Before you recorded your lines for Phantom Liberty, did you play the game or familiarise yourself with the world of Cyberpunk?
PS: Great voice acting
RedStreamTeam22
Is there a line from the game that stayed with you?

How do you balance the truth and lies in your voice acting when performing scenes with ambiguous subtext?
YA88A
Are you familiar with the prequel comic book about Songbird and if so was that before or after you had played her?
Necrotiix_
Dependent on the endings, what do you think Song’s fate would truly be? Though the fans have speculation, i’d like to hear what **you** have to think about your character. About both sides, too. The Reed and the So Mi endings.
Savathun-God-Of-Lies
Some of your scenes are very heavy for sure, so I was wondering if any lines in particular had some kind of emotional toll on you during or after recording? Or any lines that just resonate with you?
Madrathyl
Why can’t we romance so mi she is fine
SimonMagus8
Do you think we will see Songbird again in the future perhaps in Cyberpunk: Orion and will she meet V again ?
Also could she see V and Song as a couple? They seemed to have a lot of chemistry.
PocketCatt
Is it hard to portray a character like So Mi – whose backstory and personality is so reliant on tons and tons of lore you might not know in detail?
(I don’t know how any of them do it, but So Mi was really good and felt so real!)
Monochromeshade
I’m pretty sure people in the live chat are going to act civil…

Is there any possibility of So Mi returning in the sequel?
Would love for her to play a similar role as Panem or Judy.
