I can’t think of any reason Minji Chang couldn’t play Songbird live action.
But I seriously doubt the live action project will involve any of these characters.

You gotta remember, these people are voice actors not actors I rather have good actors that don’t completely resemble the character, then people that resemble their character completely, but aren’t good actors
Gemma Chan isn’t a good choice for songbird. Song bird is Korean so they should have a Korean actress play her. Other than that, I’d pick someone else for Panam but the rest is good.
I would literally bail on this franchise if they do any live action. Who’s it for? Everybody knows live action is ass almost every time.

Tbh they should make a movie in the cyberpunk universe but expand the universe, go with different characters, tell a different story
Not sure if I want them to adapt V’s story. I’d much more have liked to get something new with references from V’s story here and there. This is such a rich universe with a lot of lore and places any story could go, that just retelling an already made plot wouldn’t cut it FOR ME.
Dunno how y’all feel about it, of course, it’s just IMO.

Yes, I know, I know … “fan films” usually suck ass, they’re cheesy af, cringe, and so on. But not this one!! This one is surprisingly good and well made, given the restrictions (… budget, effects, getting talented actors, filming locations …) such “fan films” usually face.
Runtime: about 40 minutes.
Give it a shot.
