My motherboard, it’s a prebuilt, wasn’t confident enough to build it myself, found out it also doesn’t support memory speeds above 3200MHz, instantly fails to post beyond safe mode. Definitely cheap.

If we are talking cheap in terms of dollar amount, it’d be the extra power strip on my table for temporarily plugging in stuff like my phone charger or laptop.
If we are talking relative to what price category of other components I bought into, I guess its my deskpad. Paid 20€ for a 120x40cm desk pad. It’s probably not very high quality, it certainly doesn’t feel amazing out of the box, but until it gets messed up in some way, I’m not willing to buy another.

I feel like my setup is pretty balanced tbh, no cheap stuff just aging slightly but still pretty damn high end. Cheapest part would be my monitor which is still a very decent ViewSonic 1440×2560 144hz IPS panel. Until oled becomes cheaper and in 27-32in I’m holding out.
