Is there any way to fix the AMD dip or should I have bought intel instead? 5800x3d 4.65 3800cl13. With an equivalent intel chip my 1% lows would’ve stuck to the initial 179-180ish range we saw at the beginning and not have dropped from 300+ to 73fps

This is really infuriating because although the fps are very high and the averages are very high, the 1% lows get disproportionally low when it really matters. If I’m just minding my own business in a non CPU intensive scenario rock solid over 200 on the 1% lows. This scenario right here is really intensive because although this pre game lobby map is small, there are still 100% loading in around me and the cpu seems to struggle with that.

Yes, stop watching framechasers snake oil.

Fortnite stutters a lot in the pre-game lobby because it’s loading but then the issue should mostly disappear. How often does it drop in normal gameplay?

fortnite 1% lows are bad for everyone, game is constantly loading in the map and other players

I think pre lobby might not be the best test. The AMDip is def real you can induce it by whipping the camera around to load as much as possible. Is it a problem though? you decide and if it even happens in normal gameplay
