If the update bricked the screen, LG will have to reflash it (Or tell you how to do it).
Are you sure the update stopped? If not, let it run and don’t do anything.

Why the f does a monitor need a firmware update ? What does it exactly add?

Wtf. Its common knowledge to do absolutely nothing during a firmware update. Don’t even breathe too hard near it. Just close whatever you’re doing, start the firmware update, and go take a shit until it’s done.

Silly mistakes that we sometimes make for no apparent reason (monkey instincts take over at times). Glad you were able to fix it, and learned a very valuable lesson about hardware firmware updates

Dude why are you doing anything at all while updating firmware? More specifically why are you changing settings that reference the firmware while changing the firmware?
Everything about you post upsets me. Everything. I fix computers for a living. I also own this monitor. If it can be fixed I can help you. Im only offering because I own this monitor so Im pretty sure I understand what youre feeling right now but jesus christ man… DM me and I’ll assist.
