It’s no worries . But you can use double sided tape . I think it would be better since it’s lying on a vibrating HDD . Just my opinion.

It’s not on your hdd. But as long as the circuits aren’t grounding out on the case/hdd Bay. Its fine.

literal yes. Its not laying on the hdd, its laying on the cage. The ssd isn’t shock sensitive it’s fine. send it

The magnet on my 18TB drive is so powerful that the 3.5” adapter is sticking to the hard drive. Haven’t noticed any weird behaviour regarding data integrity/speeds. Don’t think an SSD near the hard drive will do something weird either.
