Im not sure were else to ask about this but this is the Microsoft account i use on my pc and someone or something is obviously trying to getting into my account but have failed so far so should i be concerned? All the sign in attempts are from china
I’ve been getting them for decades everyday, make a good password and enable 2fa and you will be fine

And I got downvoted when I said it’s not a good idea to enter your banking info on TikTok because it’s China owned.

As others have mentioned a good password and 2FA is all you need. I think it gives this message even if they only have your email/user name. So if your email gets leaked once you’ll get these for life.

That’s why you gotta have 2 accounts. One for gaming/leisure and one strictly for business.
As long as you have 2fa/ a strong PW. It’s the same as receiving junk mail.

If you have 2FA they cant do shit, sleep easy and maybe change your password if you wanna sleep better.

Use an authenticator app or something, do 2FA
My old Hotmail email looks like this too. People have been trying do get it for years, even if they get the password right it won’t let them in without my authentication
capt_gaz
Microsoft supports passwordless, do that.
Grouchy_Baseball6980
Nah, it’s unsuccessful.

These are unsuccessful sign in attempts so someone is trying to login to your email with your email and is entering the incorrect password.
Your email address has most likely been leaked in a data breach somewhere. You can check this here by entering your email: https://haveibeenpwned.com/
I have plenty of these unsuccessful email logins as well on my email as it has been leaked in a few data breaches, unfortunately, but it does not mean you have a virus. If you’re that worried, change your password and use 2fa ( which you should be using anyway)

No, it’s just me.
desanite
you should be fine, i bet it’s just them using your email from a bin when something was hacked. it should say if you press more info if they used a password. they probably just hitting the passwordless login option where you use the auth app

Set up Authenticator. Makes it easy for you to log into any MS account; helps keep the bad guys out.

Lol, you can’t get jacked with 2FA, no code no entry, change your current pass with an external device if you feel safer, they’re trying to brute your account, however without them accessing your 2FA they’ll never enter it.
