Just got this last night. And I wasn’t even using the damn cyberdeck, I swapped back to my previous one because this silly thing only has 4 slots (and I’m playing a corpo hacker).
I was on my bike, going to meet Judy for the dive date and and suddenly heard something like “enemy located” and 2 Netwatch SUVs jumped at me. Nothing a handful of Contagion at the agents and Self-Destruct at their cars couldn’t solve before they could even upload their hacks at me…
Honestly it was disappointing. I was expecting a more challenging encounter, considering it’s about someone walking around with stuff from the Blackwall…

Sigh.
The Good Idea Fairy really went to town with these obnoxious ambushes.
I cant stand how they’re implemented. The attacks are constant at high level. It’s exasperating and zapping my enjoyment of the game.
Do you have to use that cyberdeck, or can you use that blackwell hack on another?
Where do you find this at?
I didn’t even know there were Blackwall infused weapons. Is it if you betray Songbird?
You can get Blackwall infused weapons? I swear I put this game down just two weeks ago and I already am feeling outdated.
Safe to say after the update and using the Erebus as my primary weapon I’ve had a lot of guys hopping out of these cars and chasing me 🙂

Excellent, more food for Erebus
Netwatch is about to have some work to do.
What does the cyberdeck do?
