All the melee weapons like katana, dagger, chainsaw, mantis blades etc. Don’t do their (well animated) finishers, only kills like the ones on the video.

Also in mirrors V has a weapon in their hand, either a pistol or katana, i think it depends what is last thing i used, but still even tho everything is removed and in stash its like this all the time
Yep, finisher animations are currently broken.
Whelp… in terms of being combat, the short animation is actually good, doesn’t lock you in as long

Reported the issue on CDPR website and got a reply saying they’re aware of the problem and are looking into it. Doesn’t mean much but better than nothing…
theres a lot of bug with the new update just wait a bit they are gonna make patch
Also it seems I’ve lost some fps during this update too and I’m using a 4070ti. I was consistently getting 60-70 GPS with my graphics settings the way they were before with 2.0, but after redoing them, I was getting 45-55 now with 2.1
I’m always amazed by the kinda stuff that gets past playtesting
I noticed this when using my mantis blades last night. It was whole sale slaughter, but no finishers. Amazing update, love the game, but i miss the mad stabbing finisher. 🙁
There’s another bug where if you activate the metro pass in an elevator it makes you go through the roof and get stuck in the elevator shaft on the roof of the elevator. Wasn’t exactly what I wanted to do after I finished I wanna stay at your house
Cars bought on auto fixer are also no longer added to your garage
