Not that the article is important on reddit, but: Sweden has labor negotiations that are different from America.
Unions in Sweden have legally protected rights to conduct sympathy strikes. The Postal union went on strike after Telsa failed to make a deal with one of it’s factories. Since Swedish law mandates shippers ship license plates via the post and the post is a gov’t agency Tesla is accusing the responsible agency of failing it’s duty to carry Tesla’s legal mail. Tesla can’t just use a different carrier because Swedish law requires them to use this gov’t agency. FWIW this is old news and the Swedish courts have already agreed with Tesla that Tesla is in fact allowed to have mail.
So all in all, not cyberpunk, not dystopian, not anti-work. Just a dude trying to get his mail. Imagine being told your livelihood must go through the post, and then the post workers saying they’re going to through away all your mail if you don’t do what they’re buddies demand.
