I can’t see anything.. Why does this keep happening!? EVERY DAMN MATCH THESE SCREEN EFFECTS COME AND WILL STAY UNTIL EXTRACT, I have lost loot so many times because of this. It happens with any on screan animation, eather nests, mimic attacks, so on. If anyone knows a fix, please share

The possible fix is so stupid that you’ll hate the whole thing even more when you realize it, I had this same issue a few times and still get it from time to time with visual filters like Tesla storm, just swap weapons, it should go away. Literally has worked for me before but sometimes I’d also go the whole game without noticing since I’d only bring in one gun.

It keeps happening to me too. Either drop your weapon, or if that doesn’t work, get downed(make sure you have a self revive). That’s what did the job for me, no idea why that happens though.
From time to time id think to myself that i should try this game because it looks kinda fun, but i end up seeing posts like this that keep me tf away lol
It’s a bug relating to akimbo weapons, my fix is to drop them and that normally fixes it
Jumping off a building and pulling your chute also gets rid of it, I get it all the time from clearing nest
It’s a bug with akimbo weapons. Drop the weapons or use an equipment device. This usually fix this problem
From what I’ve noticed just swapping weapons fixes it usually the stupid gas from the nests gets stuck on my screen a lot and that usually fixes it
Thank you everyone who pitched in. The fix is certainly dropping or switching weapons. And everyone is correct, it seems to be an issue with duel weilding!
Starting a new contract will also sort this out.
This with the juggernaut weapon glitch happens to me every game
I haven’t had this happen to me yet, personally… however, I feel like the ultimate cure all remedy is dropping your gun and picking it back up. It’s remedied so many of the games bugs for me. However, I can at least say this is the cure for any gun related issue. Sorry I couldn’t be of any more help specifically… but hey, maybe this really is the fix for all things stupid.
It bugs like that often, from the frenzy field upgrade to the infested strongholds. Usually fixes for me when you get in a vehicle and drive around. I play on Xbox
sometimes dis glitch is associated w a specific gun or gas mask, you’d had to drop the gun or gas mask & the effects should go away.
happened to my manz only when he would use my akimbo swarms, as soon as he dropped them the effects went away.
Pulling your chute gets rid of it and also reviving someone. It happened to me quite a bit.
I have this constantly, switch weapons or use parachute fixes it.
Holding a lethal always gets rid of mine
