I’ve got an early production 5900x right from the launch in 2020 and have struggled through obscure BSODs for years until I googled my RAM and found other people with the same Corsair Vengeance LPX kit (CMK32GX4M2B3200C16) with exactly the same problems. Apparently upping tRC from 54 to 57 fixes most problems and also did so for me.
As the CPU is now 3 years old I’ve started to get more into overclocking and getting PBO down to its best values for my chip and I’m starting to wonder how much my [bad RAM timings](https://i.imgur.com/CsXWNSI.png) are holding me back. I don’t trust this kit to hold up if I tighten anything.
What RAM should I get if I want to get a noticeable performance improvement in games?
So far I’m eyeing [this Gskill kit](https://geizhals.de/g-skill-ripjaws-v-schwarz-dimm-kit-32gb-f4-3600c14d-32gvka-a2536314.html?hloc=at&hloc=de&hloc=pl&hloc=uk&hloc=eu). Will this be just a 200 € waste of money or will propper RAM get me more perf out of the 5900x?
Is this kit right for Zen 3 at all or are there better performing worthwhile alternatives?
EDIT: are there any good OC kits for 64 GB and above also? (just asking since B-Die can’t do 2 sticks with more than 16 each afais)

A waste of money in my oppinion. 200 € for maybe 5% more acual performance outside of benchmarks is not really worth it.
If you just want to have fun OC’ing. Why not ? Its an hobby , so it is the question if it is worth it for you 😉
Going above 32 GB on ddr4 is not a good idea for oc’ing. More capacity will put more stress on the memory controller. On top your will be kinda limited to 16gbit ram IC’s or you would have to run quad rank which will stress the memory controller even further limiting the OC potential.
If you want do get New ram just for fun i would get a dual rank 2x16gb kit. For example b-die.
