Thats just the start. Soon they will sell bundles just for MWZ. Operators with bonus equipment for each infill as a free goodie. Weapons that come at a fixed rarity or equipped ammo mods. The could just aswell go down the route of just straight up selling pap crystals, aether tools etc. Cause i find it highly suspicious that allmost everything noteworthy has extreme cooldowns.
Like on mobile games that have wait mechanics. “Oh it seems like your refined aether crystal has 16 hour cooldown. How about you reduce the cooldown timer by paying 5 bucks?”.
Since there is no PVP Activision could simply blow open the gates for P2W. Nothing is stopping them. After all their greed knows no bounds. (looks at the full price for MW3).

Very much a hot take but id actually pay for P2W shit. Like if there was a charm that made you spawn in with something good off the bat like pap2 or epic rarity, id spend $10 on it. Thats how sick of RNG i am right now lmao

I don’t like it, solely because I don’t like having consumables as part of a battle pass (XP tokens notwithstanding). Now if these items are part of the free tiers, that’d be fine.
That said, I know they’re gonna push out new bundles with Zombies benefits similar to DMZ, so the least ATVI could do is throw a couple of those benefits into BP skins like IW did for MWII season 5. If you’re gonna be money hungry, at least throw the average player a bone every now and then so it doesn’t look blatant.

Imo it’s better than gambling on gobblegums or elixirs and it’s less pay2win than the exclusive operator perks. But I wouldn’t put it past them to at least bring the operator perks back

On a side note it would be nice if we could have drawn out reoccurring quests for specific schematics, if those ever get included in future passes

Don’t care, PvE mode so I could care less what you’re paying to do. Also with all the RNG on blueprints you could get really lucky or unlucky on what drops so having more or less unlocks means even less as it pertains to skill and playtime.

Atleast Fortnite’s battle pass is insanely easy to finish, you play a little bit every day and you’ll finish it in the first 2 weeks lol
