The G Skill kit does not want to post on my X470 Gaming Plus board w/ R5 3600, but works fine on my MSI B550I Gaming Edge WiFi board w/ R5 5600G
the patriot kits works fine on both boards (slightly better OC, a little more clock and a little tighter), both of these kits are Samsung B-Die on A0 PCBs, what gives?
The usual result i get is 3 beeps and a dram error LED, this is at JEDEC speeds, not even XMP and i have had this kit at 4133 with tight timings on the B550 board
i found this out when i tried to run both kits for 32GB on my X470 board cause i keep running out of ram (anything from no post to unstable), the board just says the g skill sticks are dead when i try them 1 at a time, pop in the patriot ram and it is all system go
